David Browning, D.Phil., Fellow and former Vice-Master of St. Cross College in the University of Oxford and Founder Registrar of the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, has served as Facilitator of sessions pertaining to religion and matters of church and state since 2002. Dr. Browning has also served the Oxford Round Table as welcoming speaker to participants in Round Tables during those years. Dr. Browning was appointed as Lecturer at the University of Oxford in 1968 and was a principle party in the founding of the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies and was a primary player in raising the several millions of pounds for the construction of the grand new facility for the Centre.
